Facilities Show cancels 2020 event and confirms 2021 dates

26 June 2020

Having initially rescheduled from May to September this year, the Facilities Show has now confirmed the next event will take place at ExCeL London on 18 May 2021.

It is the latest in a long list of announcements for industry events following the impact of the Covid-19 virus and lockdown.

With many exhibitions rescheduling for later this year, attendees and exhibitors are continuing to await further government announcements on the easing of lockdown restrictions to see whether they will take place.

The Facilities Show 2021 event will be held from 18 to 20 May will include six other events: IFSEC Internatonal; FIREX International; Safety & Health Expo; Intelligent Building Show; Workplace Wellbeing Show; Counter Terror Expo.

The organiser stated that the decision had been made in consultation with exhibitors and stakeholders and its announcement said "the new date provides the best possible platform for exhibitors and visitors to do business".

The Facilities Show also plans to provide additional online events, in addition to the series of webinars held last May in its Digital Week initiative.

Informa Marks group director Chris Edwards said: “It remains a time of uncertainty, so our events teamwill be contacting exhibitors and partners to answer questions and provide someclarity regarding the rescheduled dates and ensure we can deliver the sameevent experience we have planned.

“I’d like to thank our exhibitors and partners for theirunderstanding during this time.”
