Concord pushes boundaries with Pixer Pod

18 November 2019

Concord, Sylvania’s architectural lighting brand, has added new iterations of its award-winning Pixer product further expanding this range of design led luminaires.

This has been introduced alongside a wall-mounted version to further the installation opportunities of Pixer, by applying a consistent design theme across multiple fitting applications.

Building on the prestigious Lux Award for Interior Luminaire of the Year, the Concord 4 pod Pixer office light represents a breakthrough in innovative architectural design and high-performance output.

The new Pixer Single Pod Recessed, is a smaller individual version, providing the option for flush mounted or pulled out, achieving a true quality light source for circulation environments which have been traditionally lit using downlights.

This new addition to the Concord Pixer range, as well as the Wall Mount option allows more flexibility for designers specifying and applying the product.

To eliminate dark wall effects in installations, by producing a consistent ‘halo’ effect, the Concord Pixer Wall Mount maintains a consistent look to a project.

Previously, Pixer could be arranged in square or rectangular form, and the singular Pod solution with a modular customization can now suit different ceiling, wall and aesthetic requirements.

“Concord Pixer by Sylvania is a true stand out solution for the corporate market, and by furthering its development to bring a singular recessed Pod product to market we are building on our industry-leading luminaire offering,” comments David Neale, Marketing Manager at Sylvania UK.

The singular pod meets and exceeds UGR<19 standards whilst the sleek design merges with office aesthetics and maintains sought-after efficiency for large installations.

The new additions to the range are available in 3000K and 4000K, at 1800Lm and 1300Lm respectively.

For increased control and efficiency, the Concord Pixer Single Pod can be installed alongside Sylvania’s SylSmart wireless energy saving office control system.

SylSmart Connected Building functionality is an intelligent, de-centralised lighting control system whilst SylSmart Stand Alone allows business owners and occupants to easily control the lighting through an easy-to-use app.

Automatic on/off functionality is made possible through the use of sensors and scene setting can all be managed via the app, to create the optimum ambient working environment.
