'Crib sheet' for YLOTY19 entries produced by EWL

03 July 2019

Helpful advice for those submitting entries for this year's Young Leader of the Year (YLOTY) category within the PFM Awards 2019 has been produced by the Emerging Workplace Leaders (EWL) organisation.

One of the long-established categories within the PFM Awards, it is overseen by EWL with the aim of recognising those who have made an impressive impact on the FM sector early in their career.

By shining the spotlight on future industry leaders, it provides a valuable opportunity for the candidates to share their journey and highlight the growing number of opportunities for rewarding careers in FM.

The introduction of a refreshing approach shown by young leaders has been seen to provide further impetus for the industry to enjoy sustainable growth.

Those submitting applications for this year's YLOTY category should send a 1,500-word description of the individual's career by 15 July, which can be accompanied with a limited amount of supplementary, supportive information.

Completed entry forms, description and good quality portrait images of the candidate should be emailed to by 12 noon on the deadline day.

The deadline for Account Director of the Year, which shares the same requirements of entry form, description and portrait images, should also be submitted by 15 July for this year's awards.

Dates and location for the judging of both categories will be confirmed in the near future, which will be held during the first week of September at a central London venue.

Further information on the PFM Awards can be found at, with additional details and overview of the EWL available here.
