McLaren Software, a leading provider and one of the original pioneers of CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) announced the launch of CAFM Explorer 9 in December

CAFM Explorer supports the effective and efficient management of facilities and their operational environments, and this update further enhances the software, including improved check list management, improved asset linking, additional Outlook integration and additional report templates provided within the software.

• New Help Desk Reports - With an increased portfolio of ready-made reports the work is already done for you. Reports give you a greater understanding of work order status and response performance.

• Document Expiry - The latest update ensures critical document dates are recorded and monitored and avoids non-compliance by missing key deadlines.

• Asset Relationships - This update Improves management and administration of all assets, making working with assets more efficient. Its now easier to identify all assets associated with one another and quicker to search for  associated assets.

• Microsoft Outlook Integration – CAFM Web Room Booker integrates with Microsoft Outlook, providing greater user convenience and easier adoption. The interface is easier to navigate which means increased booking speed and reduced administration time.

CAFM Explorer addresses the challenges faced by facilities managers by combining a comprehensive database that stores asset and operating data with powerful tools to track, retrieve, analyse and report on all aspects of working life within a facility or portfolio of facilities.
