Dupline Parking Guidance System 'marks spot'

29 May 2013

Carlo Gavazzi has launched the Dupline Parking Guidance System in the UK. Established in Europe and globally, installations are said to be popular due to ease of install and commissioning, providing direct energy savings on ventilation and lighting costs by as much as 20%

The Dupline Parking Guidance System can increase the convenience and reduce the stress frequently experienced by drivers. It  will also ensure free spaces are reoccupied and therefore sold more efficiently.

This alone decreases the amount of exhaust gases produced and therefore reduces ventilation costs. While the car park management team can graphically monitor the realtime status of the car park from one or more locations.

Said to be robust, reliable and completely scalable the Dupline Parking Guidance System is suitable to many applications such as hospitals, shopping centres, leisure facilities and hotels.

Each parking bay is fitted with an ultrasonic sensor which will detect if the space is available therefore provide precise information to the exact number of available parking spaces and disabled bays as well as any reserved spaces. Displays using directional arrows and digits quickly guide the driver using the shortest route.

Each sensor and coloured LED indicator takes its power from the 3-wire bus which is also used to communicate information regarding availability. Suited to temperatures of -40 to 55°C, sensors are protected against dust and moisture and come with cUL approval. While this system has its own software the database can be utilised by a third party software.
