Service Works helps Cambian Group manage care portfolio

Cambian Group, a provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is using software applications from Service Works Group to manage and maintain its portfolio of health facilities

Cambian is using several applications in SWG’s QFM Facilities Management product portfolio, including Help Desk (for reactive maintenance); Asset Register (for planned preventive maintenance scheduling); and Health & Safety (scheduling of inspections and tests, contractor management and audits).

The introduction of QFM is part of a major change in the way Cambian manages its properties. The company operates around 70 specialist services for vulnerablechildren and adults, and employs more than 3,500 people. The in-house team of engineers is supported by contractors to provide a fast, responsive service for maintenance and emergency repairs.

Cambian’s Group Property Director David Turner said: “We are working closely with Service Works to provide an efficient and fully auditable property maintenance system. With complete reporting we can target resources more precisely and ensure that we optimise the effectiveness of facilities to support our patients, as part of a wider service, to achieve their personal best.”
