PC Henderson: Increase floor space

In light of recent research from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) which says a lack of space is one of the main causes of dissatisfaction with the home, PC Henderson offers advice to help projects gain vital space through the specification of cleverly designed sliding door gear systems

With these options, space is created in contrast to a swing door which impacts on the room once opened. In a house with ten 3ft internal doors, up to an additional 70sq ft of usable space can be released in the home by eliminating the room needed for it to swing and function.
