Kentec/Finder protects 'state-of-art' Istanbul mall

12 April 2013

Kentec/Finder addressable control panels are at the heart of a fire safety system installed at a new shopping mall in Atasehir-Istanbul

The magnificent Brandium AVM Mall, located in one of Istanbul’s fastest growing suburbs, is spread over 5 levels and dedicated to shopping and entertainment with 220 stores representing many of the World’s leading brands. Its stunning architectural design, abundant light, water and green features create the ideal location for relaxed shopping and entertainment, harmonized with the urban environment.

As a magnet to thousands of visitors, this retail complex demands risk management systems of the highest integrity, including fire detection, security, CCTV and access control systems installed, commissioned and supported by Finder dealer SAGLAM A.S

The fire safety system includes eight Kentec/Finder Syncro control panels supported by Finder Vega Protocol and integrated to 3,200 Finder detection devices, plus 350 ADOS addressable CO detectors within the parking area.

This installation in such a major complex emphasises the benefits of Kentec/Finder's high integrity open protocol systems, which ensure optimum detection whilst minimizing the potential for unwanted alarms.
