Bemrose Mobile to launch multimillion pound scheme at Parkex Exhibition

10 April 2013

Bemrose Mobile, the company behind the Phone and Pay cashless parking solution, is to launch a multimillion pound scheme to help councils nationwide

Details of the project will be announced at the Bemrose Mobile stand (P150) at Parkex 2013, Europe’s largest parking exhibition, running at the NEC in Birmingham from 16-18th April.

The scheme, which will be underwritten, aims to provide local authorities with additional funding support for their transport and car park departments. A spokesperson for Bemrose Mobile commented “This is the first time anything like this, or of this scale, has been done and we hope the funding will help improve parking facilities and reduce redundancies in the current climate”.

Invitations to attend the unveiling of the scheme during Parkex have been sent to numerous local Mayors and Bemrose has already received confirmation from nearly 60 Boroughs that they will be sending representation. Bemrose Mobile currently works with over 30 local authorities such as Liverpool City Council, Surrey Council, London Borough of Bexley and is the core engine behind Metric Mobile.

Bemrose Mobile hopes to generate enough support through the stature of the scheme, to rouse the Government to lend support with additional funding in the future.

To find out more about this exciting project, please visit the exhibition stand of Bemrose Mobile, P150, at Parkex 2013 on 16-18 April at NEC Birmingham.
