PFM AWARDS - TIME TO ENTER IS RUNNING OUT!

02 April 2013

The 20th PFM Awards is now open for entries with nine Partnership categories plus the FMA Young Manager of the Year, the Partnership Team Member Awards, and The Peter Middup Lifetime Achievement in FM Award which recognises the exceptional contribution made to the sector by an individual.

Two decades ago, partnership working in facilities management was relatively rare. In 1992 when these Awards began there were just three finalists and one PFM Partnership Award. As we launch our 20th PFM Awards this month with 12 categories plus the Overall Winner, it is worth remembering how far the facilities management sector has come along the partnership road. Working in partnership with clients and suppliers in now a business imperative in the facilities management and this sector is a leader in partnering in the UK and abroad.

The 20th PFM Awards is now open for entries with nine Partnership categories plus the FMA Young Manager of the Year, the Partnership Team Member Awards, and The Peter Middup Lifetime Achievement in FM Award which recognises the exceptional contribution made to the sector by an individual.

We have made a few changes to the categories to recognise trends and changes in the FM sector. Before the rosy glow of the Olympics dims we have re-introduced the Partners in Sports FM category for those involved in the spotlight of London 2012 through to those operating community sports facilities.

For young people, working in facilities management is growing career choice and this is recognised in the Partners for Apprenticeships and Training category which reflects to growth of excellent skills development and job opportunities on offer.

And once in post as part of the FM team, the PFM Awards offers the Partnership Team Member Award for exceptional performance and attitude among the entries selected as a finalist.

Two categories Partners in Education FM and Partners in Public Access Facilities are rested this year but will come back again.

All the information you need to enter is in the PFM Awards section of www.pfmonthenet.net.
If you have any further queries, or just want to let us know you are planning an entry, please contact the PFM Awards editor at this email address pfmawards@imlgroup.co.uk

Once all the entries are in early June and the finalists selected, the team of judges gets work visiting all the finalists individually to see the Partnership in action and to make an objective decision about the winner of each category.

The culmination is the PFM Awards Dinner at the Brewery, Chiswell Street, London on Wednesday 6 November 2013

Enter to be there!
