Cleaning provider doubles size with acquisition

A well-established commercial cleaning company has doubled its size with the acquisition of a long-standing partner. Worcester-based All Clean has acquired the daily office and commercial cleaning interests of Birmingham-based Pristine Cleaning Direct, creating one the largest independent cleaning providers in the Midlands.

The deal sees All Clean strengthen its cleaning offer across a range of industries including construction and manufacturing and will service clients such as Rolls Royce, Lend Lease and Carillion.
The larger company will continue to operate from its Worcester base with head count rising to 115.
One of the first projects carried out as a result of the acquisition was a post-construction clean at the New Waverley School in Bordesley Green, Birmingham, on behalf of Lend Lease. All Clean utilised its specialist after-build team to clean 600,000 square feet of classrooms, halls and sports facilities deploying scrubber driers and extending boom cherry pickers in time for its April opening.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mark Weston, Managing Director at All Clean said:
“All Clean and Pristine Cleaning Direct have had a very productive partnership for over 5 years so the acquisition was a natural move for us. The deal not only consolidates our position as a leading provider of office and industrial cleaning, but also significantly enhances our skill range. We now have a comprehensive cleaning capability from confined spaces to high level access. All new staff will automatically enrol in our NVQ training programme to maintain our status as “Employer of the Year” awarded by Birmingham Metropolitan College”.
