PHS joins the FMA

24 January 2013

The PHS Group announced it has become a full member of the Facilities Management Association (FMA). In doing so, the workplace services provider has joined the leading body for Facilities Management service providers and only trade association representing this diverse and increasingly respected sector

Group Services Manager, Keith Hufton is pleased with the move: “I am delighted PHS is now part of the FMA, and look forward to meeting my compatriots from across our industry over the coming year, making the most of our membership and to helping to advance the recognition and standing of the sector as a whole.

“It’s a very good time for us to join the FMA; with nearly 50 years in the business PHS offers FMs much more than you might think. My job is to support this delivery, and help our customers save time and effort in managing the various procurement and operational challenges smoothly and effectively.”

Service providers like PHS join the FMA to get involved, to grow their business and to make sure their voice is heard by government, industry and the media.

Chris Hoar, Chief Executive of the FMA, comments: “The FMA is the UK’s leading representative trade body for the FM sector engaged in delivering non-core services to a broad range of public and private organisations.

“It is of great importance to us to have members across all sectors. PHS is exactly the kind of company we would like to attract to the FMA. We are delighted to have PHS as a member and are looking forward to working closely together in the future.”
