ebm-papst highlights money-saving technology at Energy Solutions

27 September 2012

Head of Sustainable Technology at ebm-papst Helen McHugh will be on hand at the Energy Solutions 2012 event at Olympia on October 10-11 to explain how businesses can save money and reduce their carbon footprint by using green technology.

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems account for as much as 40% of the CO2 emitted by the UK’s non-domestic buildings. What is more, HVAC fan and motor components are a major consumer of increasingly expensive energy.

Helen will be joined by other experts from ebm-papst on stand G51 demonstrating how the simple upgrading of HVAC equipment and fitting of more energy efficient fans and motors can deliver major energy cost savings and reduce CO2 emissions.

Championing the use of innovative EC technology, leading European manufacturer ebm-papst will show visitors real world examples of the significant savings delivered across a range of scenarios and the ease with which these upgrades can be implemented.

Helen says: “EC technology is exceeding future efficiency targets and offers typical energy savings of between 30% - 80% over traditional AC fans.

“It’s a cost-effective option for a vast range of new and old buildings, as it can be easily installed as an upgrade to existing equipment.”

ebm-papst is also offering free site surveys to attendees to see how its EC fans can help save energy consumption.
