Law firm opens door to Portico

10 August 2012

Portico has secured a significant new contract to provide front of house services to top 100 law firm, Wedlake Bell LLP.

Simon Pratt

The contract follows Wedlake Bell’s merger with Cumberland Ellis in April this year and will see Portico manage ‘welcome services’ at the firm’s office in central London, supporting more than 120 lawyers and their clients. In addition to managing the reception, Portico will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Wedlake Bell’s intimate client area and meeting rooms.

Paul Johnston, Head of Facilities, Wedlake Bell, commented: “We pride ourselves on offering our clients consistently high standards of service and we were keen to develop the visitor experience at our office. It was important to us that our front of house provider reflected our values, and, on visiting the Portico team at one of their existing clients’ premises, we were extremely impressed with their performance and people-led approach. This, combined with their experience of working with other legal clients, made them the perfect fit for us.”

Simon Pratt, Portico’s Managing Director, added: “We’re passionate about providing impeccable front of house management and invest significantly in our staff recruitment, development and training to ensure we have the right people in place to provide exceptional service for our clients. We’re delighted to be working with Wedlake Bell and look forward to offering their staff and clients a very warm welcome.”
