Business soars for OCS at Gatwick Airport with Emirates

17 May 2012

Emirates has recently awarded a three year contract to OCS to provide aircraft cleaning services to its fleet at Gatwick Airport.

The airline operates three flights a day from the London airport. This addition brings the company’s cleaning business portfolio at the airport to 15 airlines, including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Monarch. The contract win underlines a rapid growth in business achieved by OCS at Gatwick Airport in the last two years.

“We are known the world over for our commitment to the highest standards of quality in every aspect of our business,” said, Lorraine Axten, Emirates’ Airport Service Manager. “OCS is the perfect service partner to support us in delivering this.”

Phil Derbyshire, Director of Transport and Leisure, added: “Emirates has one of the youngest fleets in the sky and maintaining the highest quality of cabin appearance is of key importance. Our experienced teams are perfectly placed to provide this service, drawing on the company’s 45 years’ experience of aircraft cleaning services. We are constantly exploring the marketplace for innovations and new product developments that will enable us to maintain and improve quality cleaning solutions for clients.”
