Ken joins Ian

Ken Jones, who was the Ian Williams’ general manager for its operations in the South West and Wales, is now operations director, based at the company’s headquarters in Chipping Sodbury.

Jones has been with the company for more than 35 years. He started working on site before moving into the office as a trainee surveyor and progressing into management. He will now harness his experience of working across the business in his new role.

Focussing on people within the company, Ken will be taking the opportunity to develop existing staff, as well as recruiting new posts from external sources. This process has already started with a Management Development Programme, Contracts Manager Training and the recruitment of apprentices and trainee surveyors for the business.
