Happy days

11 April 2012

BIFM’s Rising FMs next CPD event is on Wednesday 18th April 2012 at The Food Standards Agency in Holborn – and has a ‘happy’ theme!

The session, hosted by Samantha Bowman (GVA Acuity & Chair of Rising FMs) and Tom Robinson (National Training Award winner & Training Manager, MITIE Client Services) will look at how behavioural and interpersonal skills are now just as important as technical skills within Facilities Management – and the role of FM in creating that culture. The special guest will be Henry Stewart; CEO of Happy Ltd, author and thought leader in organisational culture.

The session will be packed with memorable and practical tips in the following areas:
? Connecting people to a purpose – not how but why
? Freedom within boundaries – avoiding disengaging service
? Recruit for attitude, train for skill
? How to motivate for free
? Constant learning – creating motivated and passionate people
? Celebrating mistakes – the space for constant innovation
? How to create a ‘One Team’ culture

This is an interactive session designed to shake up the industry’s established thinking – and will require audience participation from the start!
Networking from 6.00pm. Please register using this link
