Compass Group UK & Ireland has launched a new initiative – The Idea Works! – encouraging companies of all sizes in the facilities management, foodservice and hospitality industry to come forward with cutting-edge products, solutions and applications.

The Idea Works! aims to ensure that Compass is constantly at the forefront of innovation. Companies can submit their concepts via a dedicated website. These ideas are then short-listed, before the suppliers behind the best ideas are invited into the boardroom to pitch proposals before a judging panel. This panel will comprise of four Compass experts – which will differ depending on the proposition – alongside a guest judge.

Compass experts featuring on the judging panels will include; Adam O’Connor, Head of Central Marketing; Oliver Cock, Managing Director for Commercial; and Steve Davies, Managing Director of Support Services.

Steve Davies, Managing Director of Support Services, Compass Group UK & Ireland said, “As we continue to grow our support services capabilities it is vital that we are able to demonstrate that we are at the forefront of innovation within FM and, through our suppliers, are bringing exciting new products to market. The Idea Works! provides us with the perfect opportunity to do this and I’m really looking forward to seeing the first set of pitches at this month’s judging panel.”
