Shaw has vision 4 business

01 March 2012

Experienced facilities professional Nick Shaw has set up a new business working with organisations to enhance their performance, develop growth strategies and increase their customer value.

Strategic management company Vision 4 works with a range of organisations from central government departments through to small, emerging companies in the private sector offering advice and support around business strategy and planning; brand awareness and business development; organic and acquisitive growth strategies; organisational structure; technical and contractual support; change management and innovation; performance improvement; customer satisfaction research; workplace performance and efficiency.

“We believe there are four components of a successful business; strategy and planning, good organisation; strong performance and the ability to innovate and develop,” says Nick. “We actively engage with organisations to understand their needs and work with them to produce tangible results.”

Vision 4 also looks to forge close and active links with industry bodies, trade associations and enterprise partnerships. “The aim is to support the industry in which we work and facilitate knowledge share and continuous improvement,” Nick adds. Nick has a strong facilities management and construction pedigree to back up the new venture with more than 25 years’ experience.

A chartered civil engineer, with a first class honours degree in civil and structural engineering from Sheffield University, Nick is a member of the Institute of Civil Engineers and a Certified Member of the British Institute of Facilities Management. On graduating he joined Taylor Woodrow, since acquired by VINCI, and worked on a wide range of major construction projects throughout the UK including infrastructure contracts, commercial property, retail and complex residential. In 2008 he was appointed as Divisional Director to lead their Facilities Management business.
