Looking for the best FM in Europe

18 January 2012

With European economies in turmoil, the contribution of FM can make to help organisations operating across Europe be more efficient and effective needs to be recognised now more than ever. Entering the European FM Awards 2012 will do just that.

The prestigious European FM Awards 2012 are now open for entries. These Awards have become the premier accolade recognising the complexity and scale of delivering FM services to organisations operating across Europe’s national boundaries taking account of many different languages, cultures, regulations and currencies.

Presented by EuroFM, which has about 100 member organisations working in the European FM sector in Europe, these Awards are at the heart of the FM community. Finalists in all three Awards categories are invited to attend the European FM Awards presentation at a Gala Dinner held at the EFMC2012 conference in Copenhagen in May 2012.

There are three categories to enter:

PARTNERS ACROSS BORDERS
FM companies and client organisations engaged in delivering services to workplaces and other facilities across several European countries are eligible to enter. They must demonstrate consistent, excellent, flexible, innovative and cost effective service delivery in different European countries. Judges will want to see how an appropriate and effective strategic vision has been put into effect with the client in each country of operation covered by the FM contract. Previous winners of this prestigious Partners Across Borders category include Mace Macro with Investec (2011) and Sodexo with Proctor & Gamble (2010). Closing date for entries is 30TH MARCH 2012

FM STUDENT OF THE YEAR
This Award recognises the technical knowledge, international perspective and personality of students in the FM community. It is open to Bachelors and Masters students at the end of their studies or in employment in the year of their graduation, or graduate students, studying in educational institutions in member countries of EuroFM. Entrants must be nominated by a EuroFM member. Closing date for entries is 26TH FEBRUARY 2012

FM RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR
This award recognises the value of research being undertaken across Europe by using data from more than one country or by showing that it has European applications, and it contributes to the advancement of knowledge in FM in Europe. Entrants should be researchers at EuroFM member institutions, or conducting research produced or sponsored by EuroFM and its corporate and institutional members, and be nominated by a department head or EuroFM national association member. Closing date for entries is 26TH FEBRUARY 2012
