RFM appoints new CEO

Newly rebranded facilities management provider RFM Group, has appointed Steve Baker as CEO, to help support its growth strategy, following a nine month consultation role with the company.

Having spent five year’s as a non-executive director, consulting at a number of high-profile businesses within the Yorkshire region; Baker joined RFM Group as a consultant and successfully facilitated and advised on the firm’s three-year growth strategy. Baker will lead the way in identifying new business opportunities - predominantly in the corporate and leisure sectors, whilst offering his sales, marketing, financial and commercial experience to support the existing management team.

Commenting on his appointment, Baker said; “Having spent nine month’s with the firm, it felt only natural to join the company to help it continue to grow and develop its incredibly strong proposition within key sectors. The next three year’s are hugely important for RFM Group, both in terms of its facilities management offering and also its interiors and office fit-out service, which we are developing as an integrated offering for new and existing customer’s.”

Ian Flanagan, Managing Director at RFM Group also commented: “Steve’s appointment was evident given his commitment to the company and we look forward to seeing RFM Group prosper with Steve on board.”

Established in 2003, RFM Group employs over 200 staff nationwide and offers fully integrated solutions and simple one-off tasks, from cleaning and security services, to design and fit-out of building interiors with clients across the corporate, leisure, retail and public services sectors.
