Leadership evolves

Europa, a property and support services company, has announced the launch of its leadership talent programme, designed to make a valuable difference to its clients and people.

The programme, branded ‘evolve’, has been created to discover, identify and develop ability and expertise. Aligned to the Institute of Leadership and Management framework, it also allows participants to work towards an industry recognised national qualification.

The programme was designed by the company to meet a specific set of management behaviours identified as being crucial to high performance. Its goal is to improve motivation and productivity through employee engagement and, as an effect, improve the service experience for the company’s clients.

Anne Stockdale, Investors in People Assessor and Chartered Fellow CIPD, commented on Europa’s leadership development strengths: “The evolve talent programme is currently available to senior managers with programme information transparently available across the business; the programme will be cascaded to the next level of managers in January 2012. Thus, Europa’s succession planning is considerably more transparent than many companies’ models.”
