Stylish win for Europa

17 October 2011

Europa has secured a deal to provide facilities management services to McArthurGlen East Midlands Designer Outlet.

The contract includes the provision of cleaning and security services delivered through an on-site team of 28 staff and further supported by Europa’s network of management and central services teams.

The McArthurGlen Group is a leading developer, owner and manager of Designer Outlet centres in Europe. The East Midlands Outlet in Derbyshire, located just off the M1 at junction 28, features more than 70 high street and designer stores. The centre offers over 193,000 square feet of stunning architecture to its 2.5 million annual customers.

This latest win boosts Europa’s shopping centre portfolio to over 40 serviced sites covering 14 million square feet of retail space.

Kenny Murray, Centre Manager at McArthurGlen, East Midlands, commented on the reasons for the appointment: “We take great care and pride in the way we look after our customers and facilities at McArthurGlen. Europa is a natural choice of partner to help us continue to do that and enhance our customer experience. Their inherent knowledge of the retail environment, coupled with their intelligent approach to service delivery will add value whilst maintaining a quality environment for our visitors.”
