Kier choose hire partners

22 September 2011

HSS Hire has secured a contract as preferred supplier for the hire of small plant and tools with the Kier Group.

The Preferred Supplier agreement will also see the hire company supply heating, cooling and lifting equipment in what has been described as a “strategic alliance of companies with a conscience”. HSS will be one of three selected suppliers for these services.

Kier is a construction and development group specialising in building and civil engineering, support services, public and private house building, property development and Private Finance Initiative. The Group employs over 11,000 people worldwide and has annual revenue of £2.1bn.

Announcing the contract, HSS Chief Executive Chris Davies, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Kier on this new agreement. The company is a significant new addition to our account base and we are working with them to fully understand their hire requirements and are committed to responding with a transparent, partnership solution. Together we represent best-of-breed like-minded organisations and I am confident our collaboration will be mutually beneficial.”
