05 September 2011

Sodexo Justice Services has appointed Tony Leech to the role of managing director.

Leech takes over from Phil Andrew who was recently appointed to the role of chief financial officer for Sodexo UK & Ireland.

Leech previously held this role from 2007 to 2009. During his time away from the business, Leech held the role of deputy secretary for the Department of Justice in Melbourne, Victoria.

He said: “I am delighted to be coming back to the UK and Sodexo Justice Services. It’s an exciting time for the company and I look forward to all of the challenges that lie ahead.”

Aidan Connolly, Sodexo UK & Ireland chief executive officer, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Tony back to the UK and Ireland business, where I am confident he will pick up the mantle from Phil Andrew and continue to grow and develop our justice market offer with tremendous success.”

Sodexo Justice Services has been running rehabilitative justice services, which seek to change lives for the better, since 1993. SJS currently runs justice services at over 120 sites across the world, including the entire operation of four prisons in the UK.
