New FMA Office Managers’ Village confirmed for this year’s office* show

United Hygiene Services, Elementus, Incentive QAS Limited, MITIE, Speedy Services, and, are just a few of the first time exhibitors ready to meet over 5000 PAs and Office Managers when the new FMA Office Managers’ Village launches at office* 2011 this 15-16 September, at Earls Court, London.

The new bespoke village, developed in association with the Facilities Management Association (FMA), has been introduced to offer support and guidance to the growing number of office managers, whose duties include facilities management.

“We know how complex workplace legislation can be, so we are offering our help and advice to office professionals who are finding themselves increasingly responsible for the health and safety compliance in their workplace,” says Suzanne Clarkson, marketing manager for independent workplace compliance consultancy Elementus.
“office* 2010 made me realise just how many office managers are involved with facilities management with nowhere to turn for guidance,” adds FMA chief executive, Chris Hoar. “As a result we have partnered with to produce ‘’ (Information for Office Managers), filled with up to date legislation for this important audience.”

In addition to the new FMA Office Managers’ Village, this year’s office* will also see the introduction of a dedicated Office Manager/Facilities Manager morning on Friday 16 September. An exclusive champagne breakfast, sponsored by, will kick off proceedings at 9.30am, followed by free FM sessions in office*’s new demo theatre on ‘Bridging the Information Gap: Everything You Need to Know and Where to Find It’ (hosted by and ‘Intelligent Risk Management’ (hosted by Elementus). Networking breakfast attendees will also benefit from a chance to leave the show with one of ten free subscriptions to the newly-launched office managers’ portal.

Of course facilities management companies aren’t solely limited to the FMA Office Managers’ Village at office*, and numerous new exhibitors, including Working at Height, Filing Relocation, LTT Vending, Tata Global Beverages, the UK's leading Energy Brokers Pulse Commercial Utilities, and Kafevend, have secured stands across the show floor.
