Lowriser - a new platform lift from Stannah

22 July 2011

There’s a new member of the Stannah platform lift family. - The Stannah Lowriser is a low rise platform lift for wheelchair users. It provides simple access for up to one metre of travel in internal and external applications, making it perfect for those aesthetically attractive changes of floor level that can often present obstacles to accessibility for disabled people.

Lowriser is easy to install and simple and safe to operate. It also helps building owners to meet the requirements of the Equality Act 2010, Part M of the Building Regulations (England & Wales), Section 4.2 of the Technical Handbook (Scotland) and BS 8300:2009.

The Lowriser is part of a comprehensive Stannah platform lift offering. The platform lift range covers inclined and vertical lifts, from one metre to twelve metres of travel. Lifts can be for one to four persons with open and enclosed cabin options. Every product comes with a full year’s warranty and local service, nationwide.
