Solicitor selects MSS

16 June 2011

Solicitors firm Lewis Silkin has awarded a three-year contract worth around £500,000 to Managed Support Services (MSS). Under the agreement, MSS will provide an integrated solution that covers both maintenance and health and safety at the company’s headquarters in London.

MSS will provide planned preventative and reactive maintenance services at the seven-storey office building located on Chancery Lane. The contract covers a full range of mechanical and electrical maintenance across all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fire alarms, building management system and uninterruptible power supplies.

In addition, MSS will provide a full health and safety solution on site including audit, inspection, risk assessment, policy development and accident management. This ongoing process will also identify any gaps in staff training that need to be addressed, which will then be delivered via a mix of interactive online and classroom courses.

Steve Forster at Lewis Silkin commented: “MSS was able to develop a dynamic solution that integrated our maintenance and health safety needs under a single FM partner. This has not only enabled us to consolidate the number of third-party contractors we use, but also streamline our internal processes without impacting on levels of service.”

Jamie Reynolds, COO at Managed Support Services said: “In a competitive marketplace it is important to demonstrate value and a willingness to meet the precise needs of our customers. Our unique offering is representative of our desire to provide solutions that embrace fresh and forward thinking to deliver service excellence, operational transparency and legislative compliance.”
