Reliance on new King

16 June 2011

Reliance Facilities Management has appointed David King as its Chairman following Barry Nealon’s retirement.

David King was the founder of Interior Services Group plc (ISG) in 1989 and CEO till 2006. ISG operates across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia with a turnover of £1bn, and David retains an involvement in both the Middle East and Asia.

Barry Nealon commented: “I am delighted to be handing over to David who has a formidable entrepreneurial record of success. David is an innovative business leader with strong beliefs that culture and people are what matter most in delivering outstanding customer service and growth. He will bring to the Board renewed vigour and a style of leadership we greatly admire.”

David King commented: “I am delighted to be joining CEO, Paul Crilly, and his team at such an opportune time. With customers under such pressure to improve services, lower costs and reduce their carbon footprints, Reliance Facilities Management has the expertise, technology and experience to resolve these conflicting demands. By doing so, I expect Reliance Facilities Management to grow strongly and become the FM provider of choice for discerning customers.”

Reliance Facilities Management Chief Executive, Paul Crilly, said: “I would like to thank Barry Nealon for both his stewardship of the company over the years and for the creation of the significant platform for growth he leaves us with. We are delighted David is joining the company at what is an exciting time, when we have a number of significant opportunities to grow our business portfolio. “David’s experiences in the end user marketplace, the wider built environment and also in managing fast paced growth will pay dividends in the short and medium term.”
