Fastest growing 'green' company

16 June 2011

Green technology company powerPerfector has been named the fastest growing private 'green' company in the UK, according to the annual Virgin Fast Track 100.

The award, presented at an awards event at Richard Branson's Oxfordshire home, recognises the leading companies in their field and follows the company being named 10th overall in a league table that ranks Britain's fastest-growing 100 private companies.

powerPerfector's Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO) technology gives energy, cost and carbon savings by efficiently optimising a site's supply voltage, whilst reducing business continuity risk by improving the power supply onsite. By optimising the voltage, electrical equipment runs more efficiently and consumes less energy.

powerPerfector is trusted by some of the biggest names in energy and the environment, including DECC, defra, the Environment Agency, Ofgem and National Grid. They have also installed across the Tesco estate.

Angus Robertson, CEO said: "We began ten years ago with three people working out of my garage, so to be named the fastest growing 'green' company in the country is a terrific achievement."

"That sort of growth is down to a lot of hard work by the team and a remarkable energy saving technology that is saving our clients a combined £100,000 and 560,000kg of carbon dioxide every day, whilst improving the quality of their power supply."
