Bailey supports Bill

NG Bailey has increased its portfolio of police and custodial contracts after securing a significant maintenance contact in the north of England.

The company’s specialist maintenance division will provide planned preventative maintenance for North Tyneside Police, part of Northumbria Police, one of the largest forces in the UK serving over 1.5 million people a year.

The North Tyneside headquarters provides workspace for 275 people, including police officers, community support officers and police staff, as well as a large custody suite with 40 cells.

The contract includes mechanical and electrical maintenance of the installed services including heating and ventilation, air conditioning, building energy management systems and fire alarms. The new headquarters building was originally worked on by NG Bailey’s specialist building services arm.

Managing director of the maintenance division, Stuart Linington, comments: “We already have fantastic relationships in this sector and I am delighted that another client has put their trust in us.

“It is great to be awarded a contract such as this, especially off the back of a previous NG Bailey project. It shows the commitment to collaborative working and quality of service that is provided by our company in all areas of the business."
