Raychem at the Facilities Show, NEC, 17-19 May

03 May 2011

New Build and refurbishment advice for Winter Safety in Buildings. Tyco Thermal Controls will be exhibiting its Raychem heat tracing systems, smart controls, and new services to facilities personnel at this year’s Facilities Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

Raychem’s focus at the show will be to expose Facilities Managers, Building Engineers, and building “Responsible persons” to the array of products and services available for energy efficient hot water temperature maintenance in distributed systems but also to demonstrate the products and services available for winter safety of buildings and their occupants.

Adverse winter weather, over the past few years, has exposed many areas of vulnerability for buildings and their occupants. Whether burst pipes, ice damage to roofs and gutters, snow blocked entrances and emergency exits, or even injury of building users, the personal and financial costs of harsh weather far outweigh the costs of “winter-proofing” a building. With Raychem systems available for new build as well as facilities refurbishment, practical solutions can be implemented with reliable, optimum energy efficient performance.

Attendees of this year’s facilities show can expect advice on the most applicable solutions for given applications, and can even discuss a FREE winter safety audit by the Raychem Field Service team. The experienced team looks forward to your visit at Stand I74 in Hall 1.

The company has also launched a website www.tycothermal.com/winter to guide users through ‘winter proofing’ a building.
