Mace Macro tuned into ITN

20 April 2011

Mace Macro has signed a minimum three-year agreement to continue its work with ITN, the worldwide news and multimedia content company.

Working with ITN since April 2008, Macro will now continue to provide facilities management services at the company’s Gray’s Inn Road HQ having previously provided on-site consultancy since 2004.
The ITN site incorporates a number of live broadcasting studios, where staying on-air is mission critical. Macro’s ability to support these operations has been essential to its continuing and productive relationship with ITN.
ITN’s Property Services Manager, Roger Kravitz said, “From the humble beginnings of just one small piece of consulting work back in October 2004, our relationship with Macro has grown to the provision of a service focused FM service. We need to be certain that all the service providers having an input to the smooth running of live television understand that there is no room for error. Macro imparts this philosophy with rigor to all the service providers under its care and this leaves ITN to concentrate on bringing top quality news to its viewers.”
Director of Mace Macro, Ross Abbate said, “Macro prides itself on developing collaborative relationships with its clients that provide real business value, and to re-sign the contract for another three years demonstrates that we are providing genuine value to ITN.”
Services provided by Mace Macro at Gray’s Inn Road include M&E support, cleaning services, post/courier services, a FM 24-hour helpdesk, waste removal, pest control and internal Horticulture.
