SGP lands contract with Lakeland

Leading facilities management provider SGP Property & Facilities Management has been awarded the contract for managing planned and reactive maintenance for Lakeland.

The contract covers the Windermere head office, their distribution centre and their 50 UK wide stores. Lakeland is a highly successful retailer, focused on kitchenware, home entertaining, cleaning, storage, gardening and Christmas gift markets. Lakeland sells over 4,000 product lines from its stores, catalogues and e-commerce operations.

Lakeland has rationalised its maintenance supply chain by retaining certain existing suppliers and using approved SGP suppliers to realise cost and service standard benefits. By introducing SGP to the business the Lakeland store managers dedicate more time on key retail related activities in the knowledge that the SGP help desk will resolve any maintenance issue in a professional and efficient way.
