New contract puts Norland on top of the City

10 March 2011

Norland Managed Services has won the contract to manage M&E maintenance at Heron Tower, the City of London’s new tallest building.

Due for completion in spring next year, the 230m (755ft) 46-storey tower is a world class state-of-the-art concept building; its design is cutting edge and sets a new benchmark in quality and attention to detail with its slender glass and stainless steel structure. The building will provide 41,149sq m (442,928 sq ft) of office accommodation, a restaurant and sky bar, and three basement floors of retail, parking, storage and management services.
The £1.3m per annum M&E maintenance services contract will reinforce Norland’s position as a market leader in the hard services-led facilities management market.
Ian Entwisle, Norland CEO, said: "This is an exciting responsibility which we are delighted to accept, and another major ‘signature’ building that Norland now maintains."
