Security on the agenda for venue managers

24 February 2011

At the first meeting of the UK Venue Managers Association, threats and protective security of facilities will be top of the bill

Highlight of the event will be a presentation by DC Jim Maietta, from the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure who will speak on threats and protective security including some UK and International examples and what Venue Managers can do to mitigate risk.
The UK Venue Managers Association’s Managing Secretary, Neil Levett, will introduce the aims, objectives and reasons for the name change of the organisation and one other guest speaker (TBA) . The event will conclude with a tour of Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
