Komfort Refocuses on Installers

The UK’s leading manufacturer of partitioning and storage walls, Komfort Workspace, has undergone a major programme of reorganisation to bring the business closer than ever to its installer customers, and deliver products and its all-important support services more effectively and efficiently.

The company has put a new management structure in place to focus better on installer customers. A new Commercial Director, Clive Perry is responsible for marketing, technical, customer services, training, and new product development. The company has also appointed two regional directors in the north and south to deliver Komfort’s extensive portfolio of support services to its customers. The northern region, based in Leeds, is headed up by Andrew Stanley, whose remit also covers Komfort’s Scottish, Irish and Midlands branches. In the south, centred on Komfort’s Crawley HQ, is Southern Regional Director James Humphreys. Clive Perry comments “We have looked hard at how our business works for our installer customers and changed the way we work to reflect changing times within our industry. As well as giving us a new, stronger commercial focus, we are confident that this new structure will help us deliver our customers’ increasing demands regarding health and safety, environmental and corporate governance.”
As well as the industry’s widest range of partitions and storagewall systems, Komfort delivers a comprehensive range of services for specifiers and installers including product installation training, NBS specifications, sales support services including hand and component samples, and site surveys for glass and blinds.
Komfort is part of SIG’s Interiors Manufacturing Division, giving the company access to the resources of a substantial international organisation operating across Europe. The Komfort range comprises thirteen systems with a broad choice of styles from traditional to modern.
