Link up extends global reach for training

10 February 2011

Already expanding its operations to cover Europe and the Middle East, Agents4FM has now teamed up with international engineering consultancy, Facility Engineering Associates (FEA).

The co-operation agreement covers advisory services and training, with FEA leaders already approved training instructors for IFMA across North America, and Agents4FM having its own specialist training business, Training4FM.
Members of the alliance consist of Lionel Prodgers, Dave Wilson, CFM, Teena Shouse, CFM, IFMA Fellow, Chris Hodges, P.E., CFM, IFMA Fellow, and Jim Whittaker, P.E., CFM. These individuals have held leadership positions that include board, Deputy, and Chairmanships in BIFM, EuroFM and IFMA, Chairmanship of Global FM, board member of the APPA Board for Educational Facilities Professional Certification, and IFMA Qualified Instructors.
Announcing the collaboration, Lionel Prodgers said: "This is a major step towards our shared goal of creating a world class specialist FM advisory business. FEA brings tremendous geographical presence across the USA and its related markets, and their team is one of the most highly respected in the FM field. The great synergy in our locations and services offers clients across the world access to leading advice and experience in all aspects of FM. We expect our collective capabilities to be highly attractive to international organisations, and to be able to deliver the best in FM for them in all main markets"
Chris Hodges supported this view: "FEA has worked in over 25 countries over the past few years, but through this partnership with Agents4FM we expect to be able to expand our services and offer our clients a real international solution to their needs.
We already have a great reputation in North America, and we believe that together with Agents4FM we will be able to continue to deliver and build on that reputation globally. We share a vision of great FM, and we are looking forward to the future of working with Agents4FM"
Each business will trade independently and retain its own identity, but they will co-operate closely to develop business opportunities and new service solutions.
Agents4FM was founded in 2009 and currently operates in the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It helps clients achieve optimum efficiency in the management of assets, resources and knowledge so as to achieve the best performance from their FM operations. Facility Engineering Associates (FEA) is an international engineering and FM consulting firm delivering quality services to clients. FEA’s mission is to provide clients with tools to help extend the service life of existing facilities and building systems, and improve the way facility management organizations operate.
