Connection are busy

This coming year starts with Connection in a hub of activity . We have had a fruitful 2010 , and start 2011 with a lot more to gain . Connection has appointed Alan Gazzard as our new Sales Director with immediate effect. Alan brings a wealth of experience from his time at Knoll, Herman Miller and latterly at Senator.

He will take responsibility for UK sales and will manage the company’s sales team . Kelvin Bromley, Managing Director, will be focusing on our export sales following a successful Orgatec.
The company continues to develop its extensive new product programme and growing production unit, more news on this will become available throughout the upcoming months and we will keep you informed.
New literature is available from Connection with a new signature brochure, which includes translations in French and German. Our January Price List is also currently available to download from our website and has now been updated to provide pricing in Sterling and Euro currencies.

Connection are on the move

We will be moving from our current London showroom to new larger premises in Dallington Street, within the month of February. Following our innovative product development programme in 2010, Connection now require larger premises to demonstrate our third space products and new ways of working, integrating comfort and technology. Our Café, Soft Seating and Task chair ranges will be shown in their entirety. Within our Huddersfield and London showrooms we will be providing on-site training sessions for our clients with Hive, and how our products can be utilised to facilitate how we will work in the future. A taste of things to come, by Connection.
New warehousing is currently in operation near our Head Office in Huddersfield. These new premises allow us increased ability in selecting product for customer orders and greater stock accuracy.
Gary Whitehead, Operations Director, states “the move to this larger site allows Connection to continue the development of new products and improve our high level of Customer Service. The warehouse will facilitate the installation of a complete Warehouse Management System on site, allowing for full real time data capture. The increased storage capacity will allow us to continue our product development programme, maintaining stock levels at an appropriate level to match our Customers’ expectations. The relocation to this warehouse demonstrates Connection’s continued commitment to both supporting the development of new products and our continued drive towards industry leading customer service levels.”
