A ‘green’ focus for The Cleaning Show 2011

27 January 2011

The Cleaning Show 2011 at Birmingham’s NEC on 1-3 March 2011 will have a new ‘green’ zone and an international flavour

The Cleaning Show, organised every two years on behalf of the cleaning industry in by BCCE Ltd, a JV with the British Cleaning Council, opens its doors at the NEC from 1-3 March. Some 200 exhibitors will be at the 2011 show, with over 70 exhibiting for the first time.
Martin Scott, exhibition sales director, said: “Visitors to the Cleaning Show are increasingly looking for environmentally friendly products – we are seeking to help them in their search by creating the Green Zone at The Cleaning Show 2011. The Green Zone will comprise a number of products from different companies, all developed to promote environmentally sensitive cleaning practices. Each exhibit will also be featured in an adjacent, free-to-enter, seminar programme. Our exit survey at the last show highlighted ‘green’ products as a major area of interest for visitors – I am confident that the Green Zone will meet the requirements of modern product and equipment specifiers, purchasers and users.”
In addition to the ‘green’ theme, The Cleaning Show 2011 will also have a far more international flavour than ever before.  Scott explained: “As The Cleaning Show’s reputation has grown, its appeal to overseas companies has also increased. Consequently, this event will welcome more exhibitors from overseas than it has in the past, broadening the technology offering for visitors. As European markets emerge from the economic downturn, innovative new products and processes are brought to market. The Cleaning Show 2011 will be the first demonstration of a number of these new technologies.”
The most efficient way to guarantee your attendance at The Cleaning Show 2011 is to register in an advance for your free exhibition pass. This can be done online at www.cleaningshow.co.uk  simply by clicking the ‘register now’ button and completing your details. Your badge will be prepared in advance to avoid queuing at the event
