Condeco launches ground breaking event management application

16 December 2010

Condeco, the leading provider of space booking and utilisation software, has extended its award winning workplace management suite with the launch of a groundbreaking new event management application. Condeco Event Management is a powerful technology solution that helps venue owners to manage all aspects of room and event bookings for customers and visitors.

Uniquely it offers a combination of both hardware and software that not only allows everybody to see details of bookings but also provides venue owners with the ability to generate invoices, maximise revenue and minimise administrative costs and develop new strategies and opportunities.

Key features of the new system include:

  • A full database function to help venue owners manage relationships, communicate directly with customers, deal efficiently with repeat bookings and generate a range of customer specific tasks.
  • An interactive booking grid to show room availability in real time and allow new bookings to be made quickly and easily.
  • Cost control for each room to generate both quotes and final invoices related to bookings. Invoicing and cost management works either independently or alongside other financial software.
  • A task management tool so that customers and other guests experience exceptional service levels.
  • A full reporting package that helps venue owners and managers to understand the strengths of their business, identify new opportunities for improvement and develop new sales strategies.
  • Uniquely, a fully interactive digital signage system that allows guests to see what bookings are taking place and the details of each event. Not only is this an important information and wayfinding tool, it is linked into the central reporting system so that managers are aware of what is happening in rooms in real time and have complete control over the service offered to customers.

Commenting on the latest upgrade to the Event Management application, Condeco Managing Director Paul Statham said: ‘The hospitality industry is one of the most demanding and fast moving sectors in the World. And the intelligent use of technology is one of the ways in which venue owners can not only offer outstanding services to customers, but also help them to develop new ideas based on a real understanding of how their facilities are used. We are delighted that this latest generation of Condeco Event Management is already setting new standards for our customers.’
