Training from PFM Awards 2010 winners, Sheffield Hallam University

04 November 2010

Sheffield Hallam University offers a range of Facilities Management courses, from Undergraduate certificate through to the only MBA in FM in the UK, and bespoke courses designed to your organisation's specification.

We would like to invite you to our PG and PT Study Fair on Thursday 25 November at Sheffield Hallam University. Come along to speak to our FM lecturers and find out more about our courses and the practicalities of studying with us. If you would like to register, or to receive further information, please click here.

We offer a certificate, foundation degree, undergraduate BA and an MBA in Facilities Management, or we can work with you to tailor a bespoke course to meet your organisation's specific skills requirements. All of our courses are delivered via part time block study with support distance learning.

Our courses give you a nationally recognised qualification from one of the UK’s leading universities in the facilities management area. Through our partnerships with BIFM and RICS there are also plenty of opportunities for industry recognised accreditation.

All of your projects and assessments are based on your workplace, and so are of the greatest relevance to your organisation as well as your own career progression.

The courses are delivered through the Centre for Facilities Management Development. The centre’s prime purposes are to apply the latest thinking to develop facilities management knowledge, people and practice, and provide a tailored approach to meet individual and organisational FM challenges. Our research experience feeds into our teaching, so you benefit from our staff’s cutting-edge knowledge and innovative teaching practices.

We understand the particular challenges you face in combining your studies with a demanding job and personal commitments when studying part-time. Many of our students are also returning to study after a long break from education. Our package of support takes all of this into account and includes
• Induction programme
• Study workshops
• One to one support from experienced personal tutors
• Online access to our e-learning environment
• Access to the University’s electronic resources, including the University Learning Centre and the Distance Learner Support Service

We look forward to hearing from you by phone 0114 225 2820, by email m.bull@shu.ac.uk or p.g.wyton@shu.ac.uk, or by post, Sheffield Business School, Stoddart Building, City Campus, Sheffield, S1 1WB.
