Training from PFM Awards 2010 finalists, Sheffield Hallam University

23 September 2010

Sheffield Hallam University offers a range of Facilities Management courses, from the only MBA in the UK, to bespoke courses designed to your organisation's specification.

Whether you’re currently managing in-sourced or out-sourced facilities, or providing facilities management services to other organisations, our courses help you to develop and extend your professional skills and improve your career potential.

Our courses give you a nationally recognised qualification from one of the UK’s leading universities in the facilities management area. Through our partnerships with BIFM and RICS there are also plenty of opportunities for industry recognised accreditation.

We offer a certificate, foundation degree, undergraduate BA and an MBA in Facilities Management, or we can work with you to tailor a bespoke course to meet your organisation's specific skills requirements.

Many of your projects and assessments are based on your workplace, and so are of the greatest relevance to your career progression.
The courses are delivered through the Centre for Facilities Management Development. The centre’s prime purposes are to apply the latest thinking to develop facilities management knowledge, people and practice, and provide a tailored approach to meet individual and organisational FM challenges.
Our research experience feeds into our teaching, so you benefit from our staff’s cutting-edge knowledge and innovative teaching practices.

We understand the particular challenges you face in combining your studies with a demanding job and personal commitments when studying part-time. Many of our students are also returning to study after a long break from education. Our package of support takes all of this into account and includes
• Induction programme
• Study workshops
• One to one support from experienced personal tutors
• Online access to our e-learning environment
• Access to the University’s electronic resources, including the University Learning Centre and the Distance Learner Support Service

We look forward to hearing from you by phone 0114 225 2820,  by email m.bull@shu.ac.uk or p.g.wyton@shu.ac.uk, or by post, Sheffield Business School, Stoddart Building, City Campus, Sheffield, S1 1WB.
