GSH launches energy bureau

GSH Group has launched an updated Energy Bureau to help customers minimise utility costs and provide management control processes to allow organisations to meet the requirements of CRC

Based at the company’s head office in Stoke-on-Trent, the GSH Energy Bureau is designed to consolidate all utility and energy management data and reporting within the business as well as act as a dedicated point of contact for customers and any queries from the clients’ utilities providers.
GSH Energy Bureau will provide a range of services including electronic bill processing and verifying, monitoring and control of customers’ environmental conditions.  Where a half-hourly electrical meter is installed, a high level of granularity of data is available and detailed consumption analysis is reported on a weekly basis. An on-line database and operating platform will capture and store all property, utility and consumption information, so GSH Group can better manage all aspects of energy management whilst allowing the customer to concentrate on their core business.
Invoice verification and authorisation ensures robust bill validation and query management processes for all customer sites, with a detailed audit undertaken that accurately identifies when and where the utilities are being used to assist clients in eliminating unnecessary waste. The bureau will also handle all queries and exceptions as part of managing the entire process with utility suppliers, thus taking the administrative burden off the client.
In addition, the Bureau will provide an energy reporting suite as part of the service, accessed through a web portal which can be tailored to meet the precise requirements of individual customers. This will enable clients to access more than 100 standard reports covering exceptions, management information, technical analysis, consumption and benchmarking to obtain useful insight into their property portfolio and achieve performance improvements and drive the appropriate culture change.
