M3 Launches maintenance cost control schedule for FM's

10 June 2010

M3, the organisation that brought you the highly successful NHF Schedule of Rates, now launches an M3 schedule for facilities management to include all types of buildings. The M3 schedule is available for all public, healthcare, educational, and institutional buildings, leisure facilities, residential care homes, hotels, corporate and commercial properties and all types of housing.

Liz Circuit, M3's Business Manager said, "For over 15 years M3 has been helping its customers to control their maintenace costs in social housing. We now have over 500 clients. We believe that this is the right time to extend our industry leading schedule to include all types of buildings. This is the ideal tool for facilities managers".

The M3 Schedule for facilities management specifies standard repair jobs that might be required, which are fully priced. It includes a form of contract (based on TPC 2005/8) and instructions on how it should be operated, including standards of workmanship and materials. Additional modules provide schedules and performance specifications for the maintenance of special facilities, all of which can be tailored to deal with partiular items.

M3 delivers a wide range of products and services to help develop and maintain commercial and public buildings in the UK including schedules of rates, software for managing schedule items, an online repair reporting system and a repairs handbook that can be printed or published online.

M3 also offers Pamwin for appraising and managing development schemes. M3 Consultancy advises on asset management strategies, maintenance policies and procedures, DLO reviews, and maintenance benchmarking.
