Bio-Miser System Saves 96% of Flushed Water Every Day

10 June 2010

Facilities managers looking to cut costs, meet environmental targets and satisfy client expectations need the Bio-Miser system from Washroom Services. Comprising of four key elements it provides the entire solution from water control to complete urinal freshness and ultra low maintenance.

Bio-Miser system significantly reduces flushing water without detrimental effect to the waste pipework. Compared to an unmanaged urinal cistern that fills and flushes all day the Bio-Miser system delivers frequent flushing at reduced volumes during occupied hours, saving on average over 500,000 litres of water per cistern per year.

"Whitehall Primary School in Leicestershire has been monitoring the new Bio-Miser system for the past month and is now on schedule to save 1.5 million litres of water this year, an approximate cost saving of over £2000."

Facilities managers will start saving money immediately when the Bio-Miser system is installed. Less cleaning is required as the system biologically cleans the urinal with every single flush. As well as leaving the washroom with that just-cleaned feeling all day long, the biological cleaning action also breaks down uric salt deposits, massively reducing maintenance on waste pipework and saving hundreds of pounds on plumbing costs. Facilities Managers will notice a significant reduction in the hours spent on washroom tasks allowing staff to be utilised elsewhere.

Washroom Services installs all Bio-Miser systems and provides a regular service that will ensure Facilities Managers are not bothered with complaints from clients and staff. Our quality service involves a thorough testing of the Bio-Miser system on a regular basis to ensure it is working to maximum efficiency reducing cleaning and maintenance costs and wasted water.

The bespoke service from Washroom Services utilising the Bio-Miser system will give peace of mind to Facilities Managers and their clients.
