Sodexo tops world outsourcing league in FM

Sodexo has been ranked third among the world’s leading outsourcing services companies and first in the Facility Service category.

Sodexo has been ranked third among the world’s leading outsourcing services companies by an industry association, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). It is the fifth straight year that Sodexo has been ranked in the top five companies of the Global Outsourcing 100. For the third year in a row, Sodexo was the highest-ranked company in its industry category, “Facility Services.”
In ranking outsourcing firms from throughout the world, IAOP looks at companies’ client testimonials, outsourcing experience, workforce skills and training, professional certifications, the track record of the management team and the quality of its customer services. Among the categories in which Sodexo achieved the highest possible score this year were Customer References, Global Presence and Executive Leadership. As a group, its 'key strength' was defined as being our 'balanced performance'.
The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) annually produces the following research tools to help companies in their outsourcing decisions:
• The Global Outsourcing 100 – its fifth annual ranking of the world’s best outsourcing service providers.
• The World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors – the second annual list of the top outsourcing advisors and consultants.
• The Global Outsourcing 100 Plus Report – an expanded industry report, in its second year, with summary and analysis of the rankings and specific capabilities of the program participants.

Sodexo has also been recognised recently as one of the world's "Most Admired Companies" for 2010 by FORTUNE Magazine; selected in Sustainable Asset Management (SAM)’s 2010 Sustainability Yearbook as "SAM Sector Leader 2010" and “SAM Gold Class 2010”; listed as “One of the World’s Most Ethical Companies” by Ethisphere Institute; and listed for the fourth consecutive year as “Global Super Sector Leader” by the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI).
