Testo Thermal Imaging Cameras pass the Competition

25 March 2010

Testo Thermal Imaging Cameras pass the Competition, taking the lead with Highest Thermal Sensitivity … Testo have given their Thermal Imaging Camera range an upgrade, with all models now offering improved thermal sensitivity (NETD) and image overlay TwinPix on a PC.

Testo, with their specialist experience in measurement technology, can now offer the best thermal sensitivity in the thermal imager, detector class of 160 x 120 pixels. With an NETD of <50mK in the Testo 881 and <80mK in the Testo 875, the thermal imagers provide the highest thermal sensitivity and image quality in their price sector.

With image overlay TwinPix, the PC software IRSoft from Testo offers an additional analysis function for image processing. The Thermal Imagers, with an integrated digital camera, store an infrared image and a real image simultaneously. By setting marking points which correspond in the infrared and real image, the images are overlaid exactly. Even scenes with measurement objects at different distances can be blended without problem.

With the professional imager overlay TwinPix, the two images are superimposed over each other in the PC software. This picture on picture feature makes it easier to visually identify anomalies. This additional function adds optimisation, better understanding of thermal images adding with easy to compile, professional reporting.
