Incentive FM grows role at Pall Corporation

Pall Corporation has awarded Incentive FM a £multi-million three-year contract covering all FM and maintenance requirements at its factory, laboratories, R&D centre and offices in Portsmouth.

As part of the deal with Pall, the largest filtration, separations and purifications company in the world, at its Portsmouth facility, Incentive FM has transferred the existing FM manager and technical services manager under TUPE regulations and also taken the decision to in-source the cleaning and certain aspects of building M&E work that was previously provided by other contractors..
Incentive FM has been responsible for the maintenance of all Pall’s highly valuable and complex shop floor production machinery, for the past six years and has significantly cut expensive downtime by putting in place a comprehensive measurement and analysis programme. The decision to award them further business was partly in response to this success and also driven by Incentive FM’s flexible and innovative solution that is designed to save money whilst raising standards. Incentive FM also currently provides a full technical FM operation for Pall’s factory in Redruth, Cornwall.
Incentive FM will be introducing a web hosted help desk and asset management system (FACTS) which is designed to enable all senior personnel visibility to improve control and accessibility. This will become the central point of contact for all enquiries with data logged and available for analysis. This will play a vital role from a supplier-monitoring point of view as it enables a real time view of when calls come in and are dealt with.
