Johnson Controls appoints Steven E Quick as vice president and general manager of its Global WorkPlace Solutions, EMEA

Johnson Controls, Inc. today announced the appointment of Steven E Quick as vice president and general manager for Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions, EMEA. He moves from his current position as executive vice president, Global WorkPlace Solutions, leading the Media and Communications customer business group in the Americas.
Quick  has more than 20 years experience in the workplace industry, nine of which have been in senior leadership roles at Johnson Controls - spanning general management, customer relationship management, directing business strategy and marketing. These roles have included serving as the president of Real Estate and Facilities Management Central US, and vice president Strategy responsible for sales, marketing and strategy for the Global WorkPlace Solutions business in the Americas. He will be relocating to the UK with his family.
Guy Holden, vice president and general manager, Global WorkPlace Solutions, said: “Steven brings a wealth of experience to lead the further expansion of Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions business in the EMEA region. His skills in developing client relationships and leading our 7,600 strong team in EMEA will be key to serving Global 1000 organizations seeking innovative workplace solutions. His most recent role is proof of his thought leadership, which has included expanding our global relationship with Motorola to deliver innovative Real Estate and Facilities management solutions. I am confident that under his stewardship we will continue to provide expert services to our growing list of corporate clients and new career opportunities for our people."
Quick replaces Rick Bertasi who joined Deutsche Bank AG London recently as its new global head of corporate real estate services after five years with Johnson Controls.
